Pavo Real Tango is an initiative by Rodostango that invites you to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and immerse yourself in the beauty of Rhodes, one of Greece’s most enchanting islands. Our meeting point? A stunning resort in Kallithea, where you can relax and dance to your heart’s content.
The event offers a spacious wooden dance floor in a fully air-conditioned 490 sq.m. hall, accommodating up to 200 people. With a gender-balanced approach, skilled dancers, and five talented DJs, it’s the perfect setting for unforgettable tango moments.

Fun Fact: Filerimos Hill in Rhodes is home to over 200 peacocks, a stunning natural attraction at 260 meters above sea level, making them along with the famous butterflies, a signature of Rhodes’ natural and cultural heritage.

This premier class resort enjoys a prominent beach-front location, directlly on the Blue Flag-awarded beach of Kallithea, just 15 km from the International Airport of Diagoras. All of the guest rooms are spacious, stylishly decorated with amazing captivating sea views. DELUXE SEA VIEW ROOM
Located in the hotel's annex buildings, those 27 sq.m. rooms are stylish decorated and have their own furnished balcony or terrace, offering stunning sea views. Τhe majority of the rooms are equipped with twin beds, featuring two separate single mattresses arranged side by side. Optionally, you may request a double bedding option, either with a double mattress (upon availability) or with a double top layer.
SUPERIOR SEA VIEW ROOM
Located in the resort's main building, those 30 sq.m. rooms offer a furnished balcony, supreme seaview and quick access to our Venue, the Main Restaurant and the Spa. Τhe majority of the rooms are equipped with twin beds, featuring two side by side single mattresses. Optionally, you may request a double bedding option, either with a double mattress (upon availability) or with a double top layer. A third adult can be accommodated either on a sofa-bed or on an extra bed.
PRICING
Accommodation for event participants will take place inside the marathon venue hotel: the marathon pass is not sold separately. To enjoy the full experience, we offer a minimum three-night stay, starting from May 7th. If you decide to extend your stay at the hotel after the event, an additional discount will be applied to the nightly rate, exclusively for event participants, according to each room type.
IMPORTANT: After your registration is accepted, you will receive an email with instructions to complete the accommodation booking process. To ensure your event registration is valid, and to receive the associated benefits, we kindly ask that you complete your room booking following the suggested process.
NOTE: The climate change tax of 15€/per room/per night applicable in Greece is paid directly at the hotel upon arrival and is not included in the prices listed above.
NOTE: If you are interested in booking a double or triple room, for your own convenience and to ensure the smooth completion of the process, please make sure that you have secured your roommates before proceeding with the registration. If you don’t have roommates but wish to share your room, we suggest using the Facebook group to post a request and find potential roommates before completing your registration.

By Air
Rhodes International Airport "Diagoras" (RHO), is located approximately 14 km southwest of Rhodes Town and just 20 minutes from our event venue. It connects Rhodes to numerous European cities through direct seasonal flights, especially during summer. Travelers from other regions, such as the Americas or Asia, typically fly to Rhodes via:
- Athens International Airport (ATH): Offers multiple daily domestic flights to Rhodes.
- Thessaloniki Airport (SKG): Regular domestic flights to Rhodes are also available.
- Direct International Flights: Available during the peak season from major European cities like London, Berlin, Paris, Rome, and Amsterdam.
By Sea
Rhodes has a major port serving as a hub for ferries and cruises. Options include:
- From Athens (Piraeus Port): Daily ferry connections to Rhodes. The journey takes 12-16 hours.
- From Other Greek Islands: Rhodes is part of the Dodecanese ferry network, linking islands such as Kos, Patmos, and Karpathos.
- From Turkey: Ferries connect Rhodes with Marmaris daily, and with Fethiye several times a week, with a travel time of about an hour.
Closest Airport to Marmaris (Turkey):
Dalaman Airport (DLM), located about 95 km from Marmaris, serves as a gateway for flights from Europe. This makes it a convenient transit point for travelers combining Turkey and Rhodes in their itinerary.
